DANIEL VEGA

Location: Las Rozas (Madrid), Spain
Years Racing:
15 in Gas Classes
National Championships:
1/10 EP Buggy, 2WD and 4WD (14 times); 1/8 Buggy (twice); 1/8 On-Road (twice)
Regional Championships:
Multi-time champion in every buggy class
Favorite Classes:
1/8 Buggy, closely followed by 1/8 On-road
Recent Accomplishments:
EC champion and EC championship multi-finalist. TQ in World Championship, Sweden(Furulund). I normally reach the Main final of EC or other international race finals, provided there are no problems. Without an experienced, confident mechanic, it’s difficult to stay at the maximum performance level needed to win. But if all goes perfectly, we always have a chance.
A Short Blurb About Myself:
I'm a person who doesn’t rest on past accomplishments, but instead puts all his efforts toward reaching new goals. I’m usually focused on racing in international events and helping to develop products from new brands. Rather than compete using cars and engines that are already complete, I enjoy working with new factories that show great potential. Though it makes the wins more difficult to achieve, it's the philosophy I find most rewarding.

Want to thank O'Donnell for this opportunity and can't wait for the 2010 season.

A short blurb about myself: I live in St. Louis with my wife and daughter. I played football through college and wanted to get into something that was competitive although easier on me. I drove by Dirtburners one day and decided to stop by and check it out. Imeet a lot of great people and decided to buy a 1/8th scale buggy. After 1 race I was hooked. That was in 2007 and I still can't get enough! I really enjoy helping others getting started in the hobby and of course the competition. There's nothing better than club racing with my buds and traveling to big events. Special thanks to Scott and the entire O'Donnell team... See ya at the track!!!
